This band started as a worship band out of a cold Northern city in Alberta, Canada called Fort McMurray. In the summer of 2009 the band entered a citywide talent competition under the name A New Monday playing folk covers by Artists such as Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat. Performance after performance, round after round they found themselves at the finals where they ended up winning the entire competition.
