Come, Thou Fount Of Every Blessing by Charles Wesley

Song Lyrics

Come, Thou Fount Of Every Blessing
by Charles Wesley

Album: Hymns 43 - Chistian Ordinances, Worship (859-867)

1 COME, thou fount of every blessing,
Tune my heart to sing thy grace,
Streams of mercy, never ceasing,
Call for songs of loudest praise.
Teach me some celestial song,
Sung by ransomed hosts above;
O the vast, the boundless treasure
Of my Lord's unchanging love!

2 Here I raise my Ebenezer;
There by thy great help I've come;
And I'm raised by, thy good pleasure,
Safely to arrive at home.
Jesus sought me when a stranger,
Wandering from the fold of God;
He, to rescue me from danger,
Interposed his precious blood.

3 O to grace how great a debtor
Daily I'm constrained to be!
Let that grace, Lord, like a fetter,
Bind my wandering heart to thee;
Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it,
Prone to leave the God I love;
Here's my heart, O take and seal it,
Seal it from thy courts above!

Wonderful hymn. When we sang this hymn in church, I was reminded of my life-long favorite, "And Can It Be". This song, instantly, became a powerful reflection of my own heart, beheld by my own eyes. - Mar 2023
