Song Lyrics

Waste Me
by Demon Hunter

Album: Extremist - Deluxe

This is not for the undecided for the other side
We made our bed in the lion's den
No place to hide
Rejected, refused
We were born to lose
Or were we born for a higher call
Those scattered few
Were we born for a higher call
Those scattered few

Sing
I made my vow and I swear
Take it to my grave
My grave
Will not regret to say
Before I fall away
Waste me

I made my vow and I swear
Take it to my grave
My grave
Will not regret to say
Before I fall away
Waste me

We are not for the fate of this world
Disillusioned, damned
May not maintain our foothold
But know where we stand

We were born for a higher call
Those scattered few

Sing
I made my vow and I swear
Take it to my grave
My grave
Will not regret to say
Before I fall away
Waste me

I made my vow and I swear
Take it to my grave
My grave
Will not regret to say
Before I fall away
Waste me

Sing
I made my vow and I swear
Take it to my grave
My grave
Will not regret to say
Before I fall away
Waste me

I made my vow and I swear
Take it to my grave
My grave
Will not regret to say
Before I fall away
Waste me

This is not for the undecided, for the other side

Behind the Song:
'In the time I've been playing music, I've seen an unfortunate number of friends fall away from a faith that once seemed to mean everything to them. Some grew to see it as fleeting phase. Others became tired of being associated with a group of people whom, despite their own faults, were judgmental and unforgiving. I've experienced many of the same doubts, but the emptiness of this world and the flaws of its people seemed to refine and solidify my beliefs. I hope someone pulls the plug before I ever lose that faith.' - Ryan Clark

Love these guys. There energy and constant Christian message in all their songs are what drew me to this band. The Blast also helped with that. - Oct 2016

Thanks for you and your bands willingness to persevere in worship, in writing lyrics, and in stance. - May 2016
