Kingsdown is the evolutionary brainchild of five small-town friends sharing a heart for people and music. By 2003 the group had settled on a name, rounded out a core group of members and began to perform live in nearby Batesville, AR and other towns in Arkansas. A century old Arkansas train station became their experimental base where various styles and sounds were rigorously tested. Small crowds soon grew into packed houses, and "The Depot" became a place where lifelong friendships were born, joy was rampant, and people were impacted for the better.
