By grace we have been saved through faith
And this not from ourselves
It is the gift of God
Not by our works so that no one can boast (Eph. 2:8-9)
We are called to be free
But we do not use our freedom
To live for sin (Gal. 5:13)
And so we serve and love each-other
Created in Christ Jesus to do good works
Which God prepared for us to do (Eph. 2:10)
That we might bear Him fruit (Rom. 7:4)
‘Cause He took our hurt
We worship the Father in Spirit and truth (John 4:24)
Our spiritual worship is bearing good fruit
We once were in darkness, but now we are children of light (Eph. 5:8)
Our lives are a living sacrifice (Rom. 12:1)
Not everyone who says to Jesus, “Lord, Lord”
Will enter in to the kingdom of Heaven
But the one who does the Father’s will (Matt. 7:21)
By believing in Jesus will enter His rest (John 6:40; Heb. 4:3)
We are saved by grace alone (Eph. 2:8)
And full of love we show our faith by what we do (James 2:18)
For faith without works is dead (James 2:26)
‘Cause a heart of love bears the sweetest fruit (John 15:8-9)
For when we remain in Christ
We live by His word (John 15:10)
We worship the Father in Spirit and truth (John 4:24)
Our spiritual worship is bearing good fruit
We once were in darkness, but now we are children of light (Eph. 5:8)
Our lives are a living sacrifice (Rom. 12:1)
Jesus saw the rich giving gifts for the temple
But that poor humble widow gave more than them all
She put in all that she had (Luke 21:1-4)
Like her, we will stand
And give ourselves fully to God (1 Cor. 15:58)
For those who love their life will lose it (John 12:25)
And those who lose their life for Christ will find it (Matt. 10:39)
We worship the Father in Spirit and truth (John 4:24)
Our spiritual worship is bearing good fruit
We once were in darkness, but now we are children of light (Eph. 5:8)
Our lives are a living sacrifice (Rom. 12:1)
The work that God requires is that we believe in His Son (John 6:29)
