Album: Raging War
i can remember a painting on the wall
he had long hair they said he came to save us all the painted him as week as a child said he wouldn't hurt a flea but that don't
sound like the jesus that came to deliver me.
my lord had callused hands and a builder was trade he was known to lose his cool
when a comprimise was made. he took a trip up calvary neath the weight of dogwood tree. call that what you want to, that don't sound weak to me.
they said softly and tenderly he calls
hangs out in gardens and what a friend he is to all and he's waiting patiently for a closer walk thee. but that don't sound like the jesus that came to deliver me.
my lord was a tempted man and he took the devils best. he was offered the wold one night from the east unto the west. but he stood strong and fast as the devil made his
plea. you can call that what you want to but that don't sound weak to me.
i'm here to tell you friend there's power in the blood. so blow on the trumpet boys and praise the crimson flood. christian soldiers keep your eye upon the tree and think you'll see the jesus that came to deliver me.
my lord was a strong man and he gave his life for me. oh they beat him and cursed him and his blood ran through the steets. not my will but thine lord as the nail went through his feet. call that what you want to. it don't sound week to me. say just what you want to that don't sound weak to me.

I absolutely LOVE this song & get chills when I hear it. I think Jesus, Lord & Calvary should be capitalized. - Nov 2015
