Sinner's Prayer

The heavy weight of sin
Weighing down on me
The burden of my guilt
A sense of shame I feel

I've read about Your cross
How You died and rose
Could it be here I find
A freedom from this load

I say a prayer, a sinner's prayer;
I seek Your mercy, I seek Your grace!
That the mountains of my sin,
Might be buried in the sea,
And I'd find the peace You offer
To those who would believe.
Have mercy Lord, on me!

I give my life to You,
Repent and turn from all
All those things that You abhor
I submit to You as Lord

I do dare to believe
You gave your life for me
Rising You set me free
Living You would save me.

Lord, Please remember me,
When You return as King
With all Your holy ones,
When You return as Judge
