Music by The New Plainsmen Quartet
Founded originally in the summer of 1999, the group was formed as “The Plainsmen” in order to perform in Branson, Missouri. However, after some differences with management and the fact that the Branson date had fallen through the quartet decided rather than disband, they would continue and make this group work. So as not to get into conflict of any type and because they were originally formed as “The Plainsmen”, in October 1999 they changed the name to “The New Plainsmen Quartet”. And as they say…the rest is history.
