Two fists belonging to me raise up to blind me.
For years "I" has been overpowering "Me",
Leaving my road paved with regret.
See "I" believes that every emotion should be both seen and heard.
But isn't it the better half of us that knows how to tame our feelings,
Knowing when they should be let out and held in?
"Me" though is so used to "I" overpowering that when "Me" gets the strength to stand,
"I's" blow is like the blow of a strong and witty man.
Hard and unexpected.
But we must remember that it's the hardest falls that teach us how to
Rise, fake left and stand tall on the right.
No change ever came easy and that's what makes them all special.
In truth this is just a letter of self-encouragement saying that
"I" is only a piece of "Me",
And because of this I know that all that's left is to shake off the "I" in Me
And focus on the Me that "I" was always destined to be.
Taking on each new day as if it were my last because
Joy comes with every morning.
