Like Moses you doubt
The Lord can use someone like you
"What if they don't believe

For I have never been
Known for one who's eloquent
But God likes to use
Who the world's wisdom would refuse

Just open your mouth
For God wants to use you to
Speak some words of truth
Just open your mouth
For the same God who gave it you
Can make men deaf or mute
Just open your mouth
He will help you speak,
Though you feel shy or meek
If you'll just faithfully
Open your mouth

Like Jonah you want
To tuck tail, turn and run away
From the road God started
Your feet upon when he said "go!"
Understand,
You'll save yourself from hardship in the end
If you'll just obey
That still small voice that says

Like Paul who came
To you not with persuasive words
But proffessing
To know nothing but the knowledge of Jesus Christ
Crucified
As a demonstration of the Spirit's power
So your faith
Might not rest on men's wisdom but on God

Brothers, think of what you were
Before you were called
Not many of you were wise
By human standards, no not at all
Not influential or of noble birth
God chose the foolish things of this earth
For the foolishness of God
Is wiser than man's wisdom
