Being broken, having to have my way
Hedge lifted
Left to the wolves, bottom gone, free fall, free fall

I waited a lifetime, holding closely, selfishness
My pride, denied at many turns
Hedge lifted, left to fail

Scratching on, eking out, muddle through
Drift apart, out of sight, not out of mind
Nothing left but to let go, let go


Having been chosen of God
We'll dance and sing, Praise unending
At home then, not more tears or regrets
Or failings

Our loved ones, together forever
Redeemed, yes
