The Lord's my shepherd I'll not want,
In pastures green I lie.
He leadeth me by waters still,
The quiet waters by.
My soul He doth restore again.
In righteous paths He leads.
Even for the sake of His own Name,
Even for his own Name's sake.
Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil for Thou are with me.
Thy rod and staff they comfort me.
A table Thou dost prepare in the presence of my foes.
My head with oil Thou dost anoint and my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me,
All the days of my life.
And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
