Album: The Return
As a child, I heard about
A place called Heaven
Somewhere way up in the sky
Where little boys could run
Down streets of gold
And sometimes see an angel fly
But now it's so much more to me
It's where I'll live eternally
In childlike faith
I claimed Him as my own
Oh, some call it Canaan Land
Some call it Beulah Land
But I call it home
In that blessed land of no tomorrows
A place of joy and peace, no sorrow
Resting in the presence of the Son
What a wondrous celebration
Praise God for His salvation
In that blessed land of no tomorrows
Living in this world below
So full of toil and trouble
Peace is hard to find
But as a child of God
I rest in this assurance
I am His and He is mine
Living here cannot compare
With all the glory we will share
Beyond the veil of sorrow
Pain and fear
With saints of old, I'll shout and sing
Praises to my God and King
Ten thousand years
With eyes of faith, I see a land of splendor
Where all is peace and night will never fall
On bended knee, the saints sing, "Holy, Holy"
To the mighty King of Kings and Lord of all
In that blessed land of no tomorrows
A place of joy and peace, no sorrow
Resting in the presence of the Son
What a wondrous celebration
Praise God for His salvation
In that blessed land of no tomorrows
In that blessed land of no tomorrows
