Asking alms of the people who entered that great estate (estate)
Who when he saw Peter and John would soon go inside
Asked them too for alms of wealth this world can provide.

Peter reached and lifted the man up by the right hand
He by faith in Jesus the world's Great Savior did stand (did stand)
And as they went into the temple, so says God's Word
He went with them walking, and leaping, and praising the Lord.

Many souls may lay by Satan's pitfalls in life
Or outside God's wonderful Kingdom, lost in their strife. (their strife)
If they, too, were given by faith a kind, helping hand
Would perhaps rise up and go walking, towards Heaven's fair land.
